Coach Jan Wilson, High School basketball coach 1995-99
I was Santia's basketball coach during her High School years. Personal
maturity and physical game skills were two areas Santia addressed
throughout her High School years. By the end of her sophomore year,
Santia was an impact player in the league. Her leadership on the floor
and work ethic during games and practice earned her the respect of
her teammates and opponents.

I played with you at Georgetown University from 2000-2003.
You are an amazing athlete who remains positive throughout great
and testing times. I think that you continue to strive to become a
better athlete and person, not settling or becoming complaisant.

Well, Tia....is a work horse...Has a will and determination to do whatever it takes to get the job done on the basketball court as well as a teammate. She does the intangible things that not a lot of people are willing to do (i.e. rebounding, defense, hustle plays, just whatever is needed for the team to be successful). Plus on top of that she can score and is a threat w/the ball on the court. She sticks to the things that she is good at and doesn't step outside of herself which is hard to teach a lot of players now a days. As a person, she is a great individual w/a humorous personality. Very likable and good spirited individual. I have played a lil' with her in Vologda, Russia.
